Miranda Purcell

Miranda Purcell is an Oberlin College grad with BAs in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in Theater. She is passionate about teaching writing in schools and her work ranges from personal essays to short fiction to poetry. She is currently interested in exploring religion in her work. She has worked as an education intern with Story Pirates where she created story development curriculum for middle school students, and currently works as a Teaching Assistant with Saint Ann’s School. She has had creative nonfiction published in Wilder Voice Magazine and fiction published in Two Groves Review. She likes sesame bagels, music that makes her sad, and dreams of retiring to Italy and owning a farm.
